This wonderful Berlin designer has a vision of creating "masks" out of sunglasses. The newest look in this line is the combined use of plastic and metal, laser cut outs and matt/shiny combinations. We now have the new collection available in our 3 locations, including prescription frames as well!

Chanel Prestige

The new Chanel Prestige collection has just arrived. This years there are two parts to the series, Noir et Or and Galuchat and Gold. The Noir et Or collection is the ultimate two-tone featuring black and gold frames. You can also find 18 carat gold mirrored lenses in the sunglasses as seen in the top photo. In the bottom photo we have the Galuchat and Gold series showing the power of leather and the strength of metal. The leather is fish leather that is sanded down for a shiny and water proof finish. Face A Face has introduced a couple of Limited Edition colors into the Ebony 1. Only 200 frames in each color and we are happy to have a couple in our stores. Face A Face makes this high quality frame with a spring hinge that gives the frame comfort and flexibility. Looking for an epic cat eye? This might just be the frame for you!

Linda Farrow x Kris Van Assche

Our newest Linda Farrow collaboration has arrived! Kris van Assche is a Belgium fashion designer with retail stores in Paris. He famously worked for YSL and Christian Dior before doing his own designing. Linda Farrow collaborates with many designers to make small collections for their runway shows. These frames feature a distressed metal frame inside a few different translucent plastics giving them a very unique look. No two frames will be exactly the same. This collection is featured in our Yorkville location.

Mykita: Textured

Mykita has collaborated with Berlin fashion designer Kostas Murkudis to create a unique textured design to their stainless steel frames. The print is inspired by the fabrics Kostas is using in his clothing collection. There are two models imprinted with a mesh-like pattern that was created using lasers and new print technologies. We don't expect these to last long, check them out today!

La La La LoooooooLa!!!!

Luca Gnecchi Ruscone is an Italian born designer with strong roots to Africa. His grandfather began importing sunglasses from Italy to Eritrea in the 1930s, and back in 2005 Luca found these vintage frames which inspired him to begin designing his own. L.G.R's current model Lola is on trend with its combined use of plastic and metal and it's beautifully round shape. Check this beauty out in our Yorkville location, we currently have 4 colors to choose from.

The Gangsters are Here!

Theo has produced a collection of movie gangsters for our faces! (donnie) Brasco is pictured above. The frames are made out of solid titanium and have beveled edges that compliment the matte colored finishing. Come and see if there's a gangster that will compliment your face!

Today we host Ron Arad at our First Canadian Place location at lunch time between 12-2pm. Ron is an architect who has designed a unique line of eyewear that looks nothing like anything else on the market. We are the exclusive dealer in Toronto for Pq Eyewear and are happy to be hosting him.

Welcome Back!

Matsuda is a blast from the past for us! We carried these fabulous frames over 10 years ago. They are back with a vengeance! Keeping the same feel that the line originally had, these frames are being made with the same tooling the original collection used with improvements in the material (now using Titanium, Sterling Silver and Gold).
